Company profileOssam was established in 1980 in Lovetch. Its initial purpose was to cast malleable cast iron castings. In accordance with the world trends, the foundry started producing ductile cast iron castings in the same year, and by 1983 specialised completely in this type of production. The main facilities of the plant are as include: melting units, moulding lines, cores making shop and mixture preparation. Ossam is very well fitted for large scale and mass production of castings. Ossam's products find application in industries such as transport machinery: engine-powered tractors and electric trucks, trucks and passenger cars, agricultural machines, water and gas supply fittings, etc. A principal trend in the company's development is to constantly upgrade its technology. The implementation of new processes, materials and methodology (e.g. computer design, off-furnace treatment of the metal, modification, making of the cores, computer simulation of the casting processes and patters, etc.) leads to increased efficiency of the production and improved quality.
